Roulette Max bet

The maximum bet at roulette is also known as the table limit. This is the most you can bet on a single spin of the roulette table. Casinos do this to limit their liability. If there was no table limit, then one big spender could wipe a casino out.

A side effect of this, is that it stops martingale and other roulette systems from working. If you could carry on doubling up indefinitely, you could use the martingale to win at the casino. Sooner or later at a real casino you will hit the house limit and your system will fall apart.

By splitting up table limits, the casino discourages people who use roulette systems. Some do work but its like picking up pennies in front of a steam roller. You might rich but if you get wiped out, you will get wiped out big time.
